Jamie Smith's Wood Signs

I found this awesome man on Craigslist, 2 1/2 years ago and he has been making me signs ever since that wonderful day! I have had him make me at least 10 signs, but I am only posting the sports ones.

He uses really nice, thick wood that he varnishes, stains, paints, and then tops with a polyurenthane that will keep it from weathering.
His signs are pretty reasonable in price and they are worth the money.










I started a tradition of having signs made from each of our schools with the dates listed. Josh has them hanging on our shed in the backyard. The pictures aren't very good- I will try to take better ones and replace these later.

These are a few of my favorite books!







Talk Football: A book for Women, written by a Woman.
This is a FANTASTIC Book written by Alice Nicholas. She is just a mom that wanted to learn a little about football as her boys went from Pop Warner, up to High School. I had the priveledge of speaking to Mrs.Nicholas last summer and she is just the sweetest lady and it was neat to hear about her story. I love this book, its very easy to follow and the pictures in it are unbelievable.
If you would like to learn just the very basics, and a little more, then this is the book for you. It would also make a great Team Mom gift, or a great gift for a NEW Coaches Wife.

The Coaches Wife Book and Study Guide
Written by Carolyn Allen, wife of Randy Allen, head coach at Highland Park




You may have read her first book, The Coaches Wife, which has a different cover. This is basically the same book, but an updated version. I have read both and I like this version much better, as I can relate to it much better.
There is a Bible Study Guide that goes along with this book as well and it is fabulous! There are a lot of Bible Studies for Coaches, but this is the only one that I have found that is strickly for Coaches Wives.
